Generics [UK] Ltd started in 1981 and has grown into a leading generic pharmaceutical supplier of high quality low cost products encompassing all the major therapeutic classes.

Formerly part of the Merck Generics Group, Generics [UK] Ltd was purchased by Mylan in October 2007.

Generics [UK] now part of Mylan, the third largest generics and speciality pharmaceutical company worldwide. Mylan holds top-five positions in 13 different established markets worldwide and are building a strong presence in many emerging generics markets.   

Today, Mylan market more than 570 products to consumers in more than 140 countries and territories across the globe. Their products cover a vast array of therapeutic categories, and they offer an extensive range of dosage forms and delivery systems including oral solids, controlled-release, steriles, injectables, topicals, liquids, transdermals, semi-solids and high-potency products.
